The new module “Telgat SMS”, intended
for alarm forwarding, was launched. Each user can now define
the conditions in which he wants to receive alarms by means
of short messages to his mobile, Pager or email accounts.

NEW GIS CARTOGRAPHY
COMPATIBILITY
Adecef is now compatible with CS-Raster,
a cartographic data edited by Cartosphere, a French company
member of the Tele Atlas partner network, the first at world-wide
level in digital cartography. Through this agreement, Telgat
supports the product to cs-raster of Cartosphere. Read

TELGAT is a new generation fault management system. Developed
around a Messaging Oriented Model (MOM), and following
NGOSS -eTom- guidelines, TELGAT is a pure N-Tiers , hardware
independent architecture. The system is useful for OutSide
Plant & Transport Supervision: pressurized networks,
PDH or cellular infrastructure, or anywhere maintenance
efficiency policies are required. Thanks to its open architecture
and referenced API 's, it can handle most Network Element
proprietary protocols , adding high value to existing
-yet very costly- maintenance infrastructure.
TELGAT
is the best option for companies with:
Very
large outside plant infrastructure, technical environments,
PDH or Cellular infrastructure.
High
network availabilities.
Distributed
maintenance agents that need to be on-line with fault data
using mobile phones, PDA, notebooks, etc.
Companies
with isolated multiple vendor systems looking for a unified
platform to manage and optimize resources and reduce costs.
Companies
with different device technologies (more than one vendor)
in their network.
A
hardware abstraction layer.
Telgat was concieved to work as a hardware
abstraction layer, in which vendor’s devices characteristics
become transparent to the rest of the system. A complete fault
system solution can be setup, regardless of the existing hardware
on the plant, representing lower costs, high flexibility,
and the freedom to choose the best hardware option in the
future. Since interaction with proprietary protocols is limited
to a specific layer, any data processed by Telgat on higher
levels is on standard – yet open - XML protocol. This
also reduces system maintenance cost.
